| Plasma cutters. A friend of mine has a rather expensive unit by I think it is Lincoln. It cost about 2400.00. I have used it to cut 1/4 alluminum and 10 guage steel. It cuts them like they are butter. really slick tool, and yes they would work well for metal sculpture work. I have used it for that also. I do not know how well the less expensive units work, but it is most likely like anything else, you get what you pay for. David |
