Hi,
Recently aquired a 1977 Silver Shadow II and need the following details:
1. Recommended engine oil?
2. What effect are the push pull levers on either side of the ac blower
vertical slider supposed to have. The one on the left, when turned counter
clockwise activates the ac compressor...What does the pull out on this
switch do?
3. Has a cruise control panel on the left of the steering column with a
centre on/off switch and two buttons on either side, the left one is marked
"engage" and the right one "reset". How does one operate this?
4. Does the engine have a rubber timing belt or a chain?
5. Is there a valve piston overlap?
Apologies if these queries sound dumb, but where I live there is absolutely
no support for these vehicles!
