The BBC Scotland's "Reporting Scotland" programme this lunchtime carried a
story about
a Garage in Galloway which is now charging £1 per litre of petrol!
With the pound at about $1.60 that's a mighty $7.26 US per (imperial) gallon
(4.54 litres)
To be fair this is exceptional, normally it's about 80p per litre (which is
still madness) Apparently the garage in question are in dispute with the oil
company.....
..and some of you folks wonder why I have a mini-metro as my everyday
transport?
