Hi everybody,

I haven't been active on the list for a while, since I wrecked the
49 panel truck I had inherited from my grandfather.

While I'm keeping his truck in covered storage until such time as (I
hope) I can afford to have it repaired, the time has come to part with
the complete parts truck that is outside.

It's been in the yard for a while and is drawing grumbles from people
and it's only a matter time until code enforcement is on me.

It's a 53 1 ton panel, in very restorable shape.

It "ran when I parked it", but has NO brakes, I do have many of the
parts to fix the brakes with. After I wrecked the heirloom, I started
to fix this one up as a driver, but it wasn't the same and I lost
interest.

I had bought it for the running boards (which are excellent), the rear
fenders, and the rear lower quarters. I was conned by the seller, who
didn't show the torn fender in the pictures he sent me. He reversed
the picture of the good side and I didn't notice it until it arrived
via shipper.

Anyway I'm trying to unload this truck. Preferably on someone who
might restore it. I'm taking offers. DON'T BE SHY! If code enforcement
gets on me it may have to go to the scrapper. If I can't sell it, I
have NO where else to put it.

Here is a link to some pictures of it. Don't get scared off by the
price on the side, I was trying to get out what I had in it. Now I'm
just trying to get out.

I can probably deliver it in Florida, maybe even in the southeast US.
We can talk. It's located in Wauchula FL.
