Hi All,
I am thinking of installing a Ram Jet (Create motor) in my truck and was
wondering if any one else on the list has had any experience with them or
any other fuel injected engine. If you could do it all over again would
you?
One of my concerns is the fuel pump set up; I have heard it must be
mounted in the gas tank for fuel injected engines.
I have heard the fuel pump runs cooler in the tank and thus keeps it from
burning out do to lack of fuel. If you use an external pump it can run dry
because it pushes the fuel and does not suck it out of the tank .And I
have also been told it does not have to be mounted in the Tank. Does any
one know which one is right?
Right now it sounds like a big hassle with the special wiring harness and
computer needed.
Any help will be appreciated.
