as far as frame goes-use teh stock one. yeah-i know.. blah blah.
but in the end-you get a better product.
however. if you want 4x4.
use 73-8? shortbed regular cab 4x4 and its the same wheelbase as a 1/2t
shortbed.
pretty easy conversion and the ONLY reason in my head to use a diff
frame.
otherwise-stick with a brand new MII IFS and convert to 73-81 chevy
subframed car rear axle. also the smaller 73-81 caddy's have a disc
rear axle that is correct width.

my .02$ but haveing done them all i say use stock frame. will be better
in long run unless youre going insane 4x4 or drag racer in which
case-build a tube frame!
