Carlos, Get a copy of the June 2004 issue of Classic Trucks. On page 54 is a complete TCI frame that shows where they put the engine mounts. The Fatman installations should be very similar. I am guessing that you may have had the mounts go down and connect to the horizontal member that the rack attaches to. That would definitely interfere with the connection to the steering shaft. They have their mounts going almost horizontal and connecting to frame up near the hats. Hope that helps.
