I have P245/60R15 on my new 8 inch wheels. Many different tires can fit
these rims, a 70 series tire will be a bit taller which will help out with
the gearing. The 245's may be a bit wider that you want for your truck but
I personally like the fat look. I took the ole 56 to the interstate
yesterday after getting the new rear end going. I could cruize right along
with the cars at 70 or 75 with noooo problem. Although the speedometer
isn't functional at this time, running behind cars at cruising speeds i was
pulling about 2500 rpms or so. Felt real comfortable at this speed and am
just loving the new rear end setups.. --wayne
