Hello
According to Golden State Pickup Parts on-line catalog they are the same and 
according to Chevy Duty the kits to repair the hinges are the same 47 to 72 
and the 47 to 54 hinge springs are the same. They should work but don't just 
take my word for it. I couldn't find any new hinges for a 47 to 54 but they are 
now making them for 55 to 59 (won't fit for sure)
