Larry,

      It is entirely possible that the doors have been changed on your '50
AD, or, and just as likely perhaps, you may actually have a '51.  I've seen
lots of parts swapped around on these old trucks.  Go ahead and order the
wing glass for a '51-'53 and you should be OK.

      I have a '51 but the doors have no wing vents (I wish that I had the
wing vents) and have the pull down handles.  In the near future (hopefully)
it will also have the grill from a '54 (I just love that big grill).  No
one will be able to tell the year of my truck from a casual glance but to
the untrained eye it will look relatively authentic.

Hi Larry-

If the doors on the truck have the turn down exterior handle and vent
windows then it's a 1951.  That's the only year they made that
combination of door handle with vent window.  In 1952 on up they
switched the exterior handle to the push button style with the vent
window.

The 1950 doors were a one piece window glass with the turn down
exterior handle.
