I've used these types of swage crimps for industrial cabling.

The crimp can be done in a hydraulic press with dies. They are very strong.
Check with a local company that performs industrial repairs and maintenance
(repairs for hoists, lifts, hydraulic jacks etc.) and they may have the
crimps and dies.
