The front cross sill is bolted to the frame with 12 inch bolts that go
through both the top and bottom of the frame and holds the front bed panel
and is supported on the 2 inch wood bed blocks, the number 2 cross sill is
not bolted to the frame and is not supported by bed blocks. The number 3
cross sill is supported the same as the number 1 sill on 2 inch wood blocks.
The rear cross sill does not have blocks on the 47 and newer trucks. 6 inch
bolts.
