I come across a rear axle from a '76 Buick Ellectra, 10 bolt-posi trac. It is 57 1/2" backing plate to backing plate and 64" from outside of the drums. Would this work for a '51 3100 with out being too wide? If not, what would be an ideal rear end to scrape up for a 47-54 series Chevy?
