I want to add a small heater to my 46. I need to keep the cost down, and
don't need A/C as the weather is fairly mild. Has anyone used the small 7"
square heater boxes that are made for hot rods They are basically a small
coil that runs off the water pump, and a fan unit. Southern Air makes a
model for about $110. It has three "doors" on it. I am considering getting
it and making small shrouds over the doors and then ducting the heat to each
side of the cab, and up to the defrost openings below the windshield. Any
thoughts? Other options? Thanks.
