Help! I am trying to replace the rear main seal on my 53 GMC 228. I bought a NAPA tool that has a small cable with a "Chinese Finger" on the end. I have gone as far as hanging my entire weight (260) from it and no joy. There has to be a trick to this that I am not seeing. Any help would be appreciated. Is there a lip seal upgrade for this? Thanks in ADvance Woody 53 GMC oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
