I know a while back there was some talk about painting a floor, I just need
to know how to clean one. I'm using a shop of a family friend and it's
gotten pretty dirty over the years. I was told to get some granulated Tide
(actually I got a cheaper Wal-Mart brand equivalent) and wet the floor and
sprinkle it all over letting it rest. Then I got a push broom that I can
scrub the floor with. Then I was told to rinse it off. Lastly, I was told to
take some Clorox in a garden type sprayer and saturate the floor letting it
sit again, and then hose it off .. and this would real clean the floor up
and sanitize it.

Just looking to have a cleaner place to work, so I don't track grease from
the floor into my new truck and carpets. Thanks!
