I ran into this radiator hose problem. After installing my V8 I found that
I had a lower hose problem. The water pump and radiator tube were two
different sizes. I went to O'Rilley auto parts. They had seen me MANY
times before. Anyway, I asked and they let me run through all their
hoses. I found some that handled the two size problems. After that I
selected one which took care of the final problem. Like one of the other
notes, my lower hose had to make two quick bends to clear the fan
and other restrictions. In the end I had a hose (off the shelf) which fit.
It only took about an hour and a understanding parts guy.

Lonnie

PS Keep those parts numbers and descriptions in a book or file. Do
you remember what car those disc brakes you found will fit. Many
parts guys can't find a part unless you know the vehicle age and
model. You will need the documentation when he/she asks.
When you need a replacement you will find it faster, hopefully in
     less than a hour.
