Hi,
Just got off the phone with the alignment place, they said that "your
bearings are as loose as a goose, unsafely so." Wow, I woulda never known by
driving it, no noise. Any way, I now need bearings, and the alignment shop
will not put them in for me. Just said that he didn't wanna mess with
it.......Great....
Any way, we have an industrial bearing place here in town that could get me a
set but they need a number to cross reference. Does any one have a part
number for the inner and outter bearings, (the number off of the box). Also
I would like to know if the number is for roller or ball bearings.
Also is this something I could put in myself?
I have a front end out of a '54 GMC that the PO said didn't drift or wobble,
could I just use those hubs? I am thinking that there is a problem with the
huck v/s bendix here.
As always any and all info is apreciated.
Thanks in ADvance,
Casey
