I've rebuilt the carburetor, and now I've found (I think) another problem.
The throttle kick lever is supposed to be resting against the far end (not
the head) of the throttle stop screw. Mine was floating free above the
head of the throttle stop screw, and the spring has broken. It's still
in good enough shape that I can probably make another one, but I've never
gone about making a spring before. Is that something that a FLAPS would
carry, or should I run down to the hardware store and get a bit of wire to
make one (holding my foot on the gas the whole time to keep the engine
from stalling, of course)?
