I myself love cowl vents. I have a 51 so I also have the vent windows. But, when I open that cowl vent, the air rushes in. I live in S. TX so I disconnected my heater because even when the heater was off - the heated coils still warmed the cab. My cowl vent does not leak and works beautifully. I love it.
