I was starting to rewire my newly acquired 54, actually just gutting the old
wiring and got the headlights done, when it hit me to check my build manual
for a wiring diagram. Then this is where my problem came from. First off my
wiring harness is from golden state, and so are the reproduction rights for
the build manual. Well the instructions are saying to wire the floor high/low
switch one way and the manual is saying to wire it another. I haven't looked
any further on any other switches to see if this plague as spread. But which
one do I follow. The problem is one says the middle is the high and the other
is saying the middle is the constant from the light on/off switch. Has anyone
else installed a GS harness. I will comment that the harness looks great but
there are some major differences from the original, such being the head light
plugs. Thanks in advance.
