The Computer Incident Advisory Capability (CIAC), a division of the
Department of Energy has a great site to check if what you have received
is a hoax. They also have bulletins and listings about real viruses and
trojan horses. For this particular hoax, check:

In 99.99% of the time, chain letters and warnings that you receive
third, fourth, and fifth hand are bull**** Check CIAC and other internet
hoax sites (here's another good one
