The February 16th AutoVino Enthusiasts and Racers Lunch program will
celebrate MG Cars in Racing and the MG Racers 2011 National Focus Vintage Race
Event with CSRG at Infineon Raceway April 1-3. Kjel Qvale, Joe Huffaker and
Joe Huffaker Jr. as well as other guests will share their participation in MG
history on the West Coast.

Scott Brown noted vintage MG racer has organized a group of past and current
MG racers to present a fascinating program about this legendary marque and its
racing history. The MG launched the national Sports Car movement just after
World War II, that led to the national Sports Car racing movement beginning in
the late 1940s. Soon Sports Car races were attracting huge crowds. MG cars
were the most popular marque on North American streets and in SCCA races for
several decades thereafter.

MG Racers, an association of vintage MG owner/racers, for the past three
decades has annually organized one or more vintage racing features attracting
up to 150 cars. The CSRG vintage and historic racing weekend in April is
expected to attract a record number of legendary vintage MG racing cars from
across the country. Western MG car clubs are invited to participate in a car
corral and special MG activities.

There will be a catered lunch provided and Woodside Vineyards
<http://www.woodsidevineyards.com/> wines will be available by the glass ($5)
or bottle. The cost is $25 at the door or $20 prepayment. Please call (650)
847-1488 or contact Tim Espasandin (tim@auto-vino.org) for prepayment. Lunch
will be served at noon. The presentation will begin at 12:30 and end at 1pm.
Guests are welcome to stay after the event to enjoy the wine, cars and other
amenities. RSVP's are greatly appreciated.
