To All,
I have just had a visit from Mike D'Addario from Infineon raceway. He brought
me a few extra corral passes for our club. If there is anyone that still
wants
to join, there is still time, but please let me know by tomorrow. Mike is
very
pleased that our club has about 20 cars in it, more so than almost any other
club doing a corral. If this works well, we can do some very cool things next
year.
As of now, all of the tickets have been mailed to those that have signed up.
A
few things to know, there are no special equipment or requirements to do
laps,
other than a safe good running vehicle, some self restraint ( after all it is
the WINE Country Classic), laps are at 5 PM after the race activities are
finished, laps should be paid to Tim Thresh and your admission ticket admits
you to the wine & food tent. This is an additional treat, a lot of excellent
wines and gourmet food. You should enter at the main gate, go up the hill and
follow the road around to turn 8. Our corral is in the turn 8/9 area. Mike
D'Addario is going to meet me at the gate at 9 AM and guide us in. If you
can
be there at 9 AM, and want to wait outside the gate in the parking lot, we
can
all parade in together. Sarto Rocheleau, Wendell Bain, and Charles Metcalf
are
going to meet me at my shop in Petaluma at 8:15 to cruise over to Infineon, (
a twenty minute drive), all are welcome to join us, or meet us there. My Cell

I will see you all there, it should be a stellar day, and a great experience.
