I don't think I'll make it to Woodland this year but there is a route that
avoids the freeway altogether. An additional benefit is that it's hilly,
curvey and scenic; a perfect LBC route!

Take Silverado Trail to 128 (Sage Canyon Rd.), then east past Berryessa to
Winters. Continue east to 113 in Davis then up to Woodland. It may actually
take less time than going on 80.
