Chris,
I have a 16 ft. Utility trailer, which Easily accommodates my 4/4. Most of
these which are tandem axeled, as I have had problems yawing with single
axels, and mine weighs about 300 to 500 lbs. l use a 83 Ford 150 with a 351.
My problem with mini vans is that if they are front wheel drive I do not
consider them a safe vehicle to tow with. We haul hay, cars, furniture,
etc., with Boris and the trailer constantly. Get a Pick Up. A good ranch
usable, that will give you many years of service, will run 2 to 3K and it
will always be a friend, the only problem being the number of people who wish
to use it. This is solved by Texas Truck rules.
