I replaced the cam and peg box on my 4/4 with a Gemmer a while back. I used a
modified TR7 donor column and some U joints from a company called Borgeson. I
also needed a delrin bushing made. I've heard that Larry over at Morgan Spares
may be working on a complete kit. Call me at 203 322-4639 if you would still
like to create your own conversion.

p.s. I don't know for certain as my car is away at the paint shop but I think
the Gemmer is 2 3/4 turns lock to lock.
