Hey Kat,
Assuming your car has the stock TR4A engine and stock carbs, odds are very
good that they are SU, specifically HS6's.
Each carb should have a small tag under on of the screws on the float chamber.
This tag will have a number on it that is the "spec number" and can be
cross-referenced to the exact carb in a Haynes SU manual. Your spec number may
look like "AUD209__" (with __ being filled in to specify front or rear carb).
Of course a supplier can also cross the spec number for you but be very leery
of what they tell you, particularly Moss, as they often don't know whereof
they speak. Of course, I would take Greg Solow's word for any mechanical
question.
