Corollary A, Rule #1 - If your back wheels run over something that your
FRONT wheels didn't run over, something's not right.
I was riding my old BSA cycle one day, and my back wheel went over something
that my front wheel didn't run over. Now that's hard to do on a bike; BUT I
was in a hurry to see my girlfriend (I think there may be a pattern here) and
didn't notice the ammeter falling due to a missing Zener diode, housing and
all, that had dropped off.
I'm going out tonight and put new loctited bolts and lockwashers on my
generator mounts. Not so hard to get to on a Ford motor.....And will have
thus fulfilled the "Fix it the day before it breaks" rule stated above.
