Dear listers.
Isn't it strange that every time things look all right, someone have to spoil
it for you?!?
Last night they sent "War of the Roses" again. What is it that makes network
officials compelled to send this movie prime time? I didn't want to see it, but
by chance ( yeah, right) I turned on just in time to get the murder scene...
It looks too real to be fun (and it's pathetic to see Michael Douglas
struggling with opening the door by turning the sidescreen screw. I should
think he would know how to open a Morgan door after having driven it for
years...)
After the movie I looked in vain for some reassuring that "no Morgans were
actually damaged during the shooting of this movie, and all scenes are made
with the approval of MSSC", ( After all this talk about an All Americanb Club,
here is really something for you to work with...) but all I could find was the
credits stating that one of the "Best boys" was Charles Morgan. Well, this is a
job that he surely didn't handle as well as could be expected.
Would you be surprised that Kathleen Turner is not my favourite actor? I'm not
quite sure about Michael Douglas either...!
