Older Fiat engines & Valve recession.

Many thanks for your comments. It is true that some of the 80's Fiat
engines were suitable for unleaded fuel, but this is because they were
built for the USA, where unleaded fuel came in much earlier than in
the UK. The UK spec Fiat engines from this era all have cast iron
valve seats, as probably do the other marques which you mentioned.
