Rather belatedly a friend dropped round an article taken the Financial
Times of the 6th of September.
In a story headed "Morgan Builds a Fuure Based on Tradition" indications
were that they had plans to considerably increase production and reduce
waiting times to around two years.
Apparently, the Works have taken on a former Saab executive as Sales Director.
In the article the company "declined to rule out the prospect of entirely
new models to take Morgan into the 21st centruy."
Finally, Matthew Parkin, the new Sales Directo, apparently said that they
were writing to everyone on the current waiting list to "confirm their
commitment before setting the new manufacturing levels."
We have a second Morgan on order but have heard nothing as yet. Have any
list members any insights into all this?
