Dear MG friends,

Although I have sold my MG BGT 3 years ago, I still have not lost =
interest
in the Marque of Friendship.
So here=92s a little story to cheer you up:
Last weekend I went to the village where I was born.
I was invited to meet a man in a museum of the local historical society.
We had a nice conversation and later on another man entered the museum.
He introduced himself and I said I could remember his father driving an =
MG
TD.
=20
Now comes the fun part: the MG was given to him as a natural payment, as =
the
lady was impossible to pay her debt to his father.
The TD was in a poor state at that moment, but after it was handed over =
it
was restored in a very nice condition in a bright red color.
Well th=E1t is a great kind of payment!
This goes back to the early sixties=85
