Seat color

I have a 1972 MGB that was originally Blaze Red with Navy interior.  The car
has been repainted British Racing Green and I have installed a black carpet
set.  If I replace the seat covers I was thinking of going to black. I think
Biscuit was the original interior color with BRG, but since it has the black
carpet and has navy door panels, I think biscuit seats would not match well.
I am thinking black would look better.
 
I would be interested in other suggestions or ideas.
