Tonight I noticed I have a burnt bulb on the driving lights on the 67B. I
can't find anything that even resembles them in Moss or Vicky Brit.
The outside lenses are rectangular, about 6 1/2" X 3 1/2". Inscribed on the
glass is Quartz Halogen, SAE-F-778, and 138-55710.
The small halogen bulb sits on a grounding base about the size of a US
nickel and this base has a small oval cutout on one edge and a small
rectangular cutout on the opposite edge; these cutouts fit into similar
shaped protrusions on the receptacle. The bulb and base has one 4" wire
dangling out with a spade connector on the end. The base has the following
inscription on the bulb side:
JA12V 55W Japan and on the underneath side has LD inscribed.
Does anyone have a source for this bulb? I haven't checked yet at local
CarQuest, NAPA etc.
Thanks,
Monte
