New harness question 74B

Hi List: I am installing a new wiring harness for my early 74 B. I do not 
plan on replacing the seat warning system, so, can I just tape over the 12 male 
pin connector that is on the harness, or do I need to do something else for 
proper electrical hook up. The Pektronic seq. seat buzzer thing is broken 
anyway.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
