|      My experience is that they shrink when stored for a long period, 
especially in cool temps.  They become more pliable when exposed to 
heat.  Thus they can be stretched to fit after they warm up.
   My present fold-down top was initially installed a bit loose so that 
it would be easier to put up in a hurry.  Good thing, too.  I got caught 
in a cloudburst over near Houston (Monaville) last Saturday afernoon. 
Just managed to get the top up before it started raining hard.
  Leaving it a little loose is something to keep in mind when doing an 
installation.
