Eric, The more you remove, the better. Check around on paint costs - it can be expensive, so in my experience buying then painting will run into more $ than buying one with an acceptable paint job. That is, unless you can do it yourself, as I did on the roadster. Cost is a bear - there are good deals, bad deals, and luck. My GT cost $2800, but it took four months to find it.
