I'm thinking that these alternators would
normally be kept in stock, so if he ahs a problem in future, he should be
able to get an alternator locally.
Hey Ken,
I recently replaced my alternator ('72 B). A rebuilt Lucas was available
off-the-shelf at the Checker in my hometown. Quite a few cars use that
alternator, so in my experience, availablility has been pretty good!
