HIF44 with intake/exhaust manifold

There's a HIF44 carb mounted on a manifold on ebay.

Has there been any study on these? Kelvin?

Do they perform better than the ZS or is it just tunability
and reliability?

What's it worth?

Of course, I've already got a set of HIF's to rebuild. I think
I'm just looking for a short cut. I realize that 1 1 3/4 does
not equal 2 1 1/2 carbs.
