Yep - the wire wheel plus the splined hub plus the spinner weighs more than a
steel wheel hub and wheel.
Have it written down somewhere, but I expect someone can come up with the
figures and save me the hunt - I seem to recall 2-3 pounds a corner or so in
unsprung weight (the worst kind)
