Repainting my '66 B

'Morning, Guys. I'd like to repaint my 1966 B roadster in its original colour
(it's now a medium metallic blue, sort of like the early 70s 'Vettes) but I
can't find out what the original colour was. Is there a code on a tag
somewhere or do I just look for a non-repainted spot on the body? If the
latter, what's the best place to look?  Thanks,
