Missing VIN plate

Perhaps the missing VIN plate was the same found on the MGC that I attempted to 
purchase which turned out to have the VIN of a MGBGT.  No sale!

In my view a doubtful or nonexistant VIN makes it a parts car only, 
notwithstanding condition.  It may be easy to buy.  Good luck getting rid of it.
