Since an earlier thread here raved about how Miata seats dropped into a
'B so well, I have been keeping my eyes peeled for ex-Miata seats at
wreckers. It seems, however, that Miatas are far rarer in Australia
than MGs and so there have been none to be found so far.
What I have been offered (if the original bidder doesn't show up this
week) is a pair of Honda CRX seats for a good price ($AU400). They are
in excellent condition (which the CRX isn't now, after a very sudden,
forced stop) but I need to know if anyone has any knowledge of their MG
compatibility. The CRX isn't a very big car and the seats are 'flat
bottomed' and just 'look' like they would fit.
So, any thoughts before I go to the effort of ripping out a seat from my
'B to try one out?
