        You should go look at the car. I have a friend who owned an Alfa.
Alfa's are lovely cars which have just enough high tech stuff in them to
make them interesting. They have a spash of panache where LBC's tend to
be either unreliable,or frumpy. (oh where did I put that flame suit?)

        Take a hard look at the car, then decide if it's right for you. Good
opportunities seldom knock more than once. 

        There's also an Alfa mailing list somewhere.
