engine to gearbox info wanted

Just s'ubbed to the list, so Hi All !!

I don't actually have an MG, just a Landrover and a couple of Minis ,
admittedly one does have a 1380 engine built from an MG metro block & box -
so maybe I won't get flamed too much - or maybe more :-)

Can anybody help with information on which engines / boxes from
MG/BL/Austin/Rover etc can be bolted together ?
