Peco exhaust paint

I ordered a Peco exhaust system to replace the rusted one on my 1980 MGB.
The header arrived, but the muffler and pipes fell out of the box during
shipping.  The header is a bit scratched up, so while I'm waiting for the
other parts, I wanted to get opinions on the best paint to use to cover the
scratches so it won't rust.  I didn't see anything on the Eastwood web site
in red for high temps.  I guess I could paint it black...
