Listers. About seven years ago, I went through all of my spare parts and sprayed/dipped everything with WD40 and wrapped them in wax paper/plastic bags and put them in boxes. About two years ago, I needed some parts, and found that some of them had rusted. Even thought WD40 is supposed to be water displacing, I don't think there is enough of a protective layer left when the material evaporates. So, my results weren't as good as I had hoped. Blake |
