Subject: | 77 Midget - control arm removal |

I am trying to remove the lower control arms on my 77 Midget. I have the spring removed already. I have removed two nuts on the inner bolts. However I cannot get the bolts on the big end to come out. Any hints? I have soaked them in PB Blaster. I have tried heat (PB Blaster and bushings are flammable - had a water bottle handy). Is heating and banging on them the only way to remove them? I won't even begin to worry about the fulcrum pin just yet.... Thanks -- Tyson Sherman mts3@ra.msstate.edu http://www.tecinfo.com/~tsherman |
