Hi Jon, Yours is the second recent post I've seen about possible damage to a new cam if the engine is turned over extensively before the oil pressure comes up. I thought that's what engine assembly lubricants were for, especially the ultra-thick cam lubes that some vendors sell with their cams. If you know of new info, I'd like to hear it. TIA, CR |
